Mark Robison of the Reno Gazette Journal covers presidential and congressional campaigns in Nevada, the issues that arise in the elections process, and state government including the 2025 Legislature. Named the 2023 Journalist of the Year by the Nevada Press Association, Mark’s mission is to bring clarity to complex topics, hold those in power to account and amplify the voices of Nevadans who are too often drowned out in the political process. His journalistic philosophy is kindness toward everyone. Mark also runs a small sanctuary for rescued and abused farm animals called CockadoodleMoo with his wife Dianne since 2007.
