Our October 5th meeting will feature Luiza Benisano, Campaign & Community Manager for Planned Parenthood Votes Nevada. She will be speaking to us on SJR7 (as well as the recent petition by Nevadans for Reproductive Freedom to place a question on the 2024 ballot) that would amend the state constitution to include protections for reproductive freedom, including the right to abortion, birth control, prenatal care, childbirth, postpartum care, vasectomy and tubal ligation, miscarriage management, and infertility care.

Planned Parenthood Votes Nevada is a statewide non-partisan, 501 (c) 4 non-profit organization that advocates and educates on issues of reproductive health care, with special consideration for advancing equitable access to abortion in an effort to empower all Nevadans, no matter income, race, gender, sexuality or immigration status to maintain and expand access to quality health care.
