DESCRIPTION:The Q3 business meeting of the WashoeDems Central Committee will be held on Wednesday\, July 15\,at 6 PM. This shall be a hybrid meeting\, held online via ZOOM and IN PERSON at our headquarters located at 1465 Terminal Way\, Suite 1\, Reno\, NV\, 89502. \n\nAgenda and Registration Information\nAll members and guests\, whether attending in person or online\, must register for the meeting AT THIS LINK. Members and guests attending online via Zoom will be sent the Zoom link the day of the meeting in a separate email. \n\nMeeting agenda  and other supporting documents will be provided with the 10-day notice\nPrevious meeting minutes will be provided with the 10-day notice\n\nAll guests must be Democrats residing in and registered to vote in Washoe County\, unless otherwise invited by WashoeDEMS. \nNotice of Elections \nElection Overview: \n\nThe election for Second Vice Chair and Washoe SCC member will be held at the Washoe County Central Committee meeting on Wednesday\, July 15\, 2026.\n\nElection of Second Vice Chair\n \nThe election documents are below and at the WashoeDEMS Central Committee page  \n\nSecond Vice Chair Election Rules\nExecutive Board Role and Responsibilities\nThe nomination period for Second Vice Chair closed on Sunday\, June 28th.\nNOMINEES: Sarah Mahler (pdf)\n\nElection of Washoe SCC Member\nDue to a change to the Nevada State Democratic Party Charter and Bylaws at the May 2\, 2026 convention\, each county central committee must elect an additional central committee member at the first central committee meeting following the convention. We will be conducting that election at this meeting. \nFiling for the this position will open on Friday\, July 3\, 2026 \n\nElection Rules\nOnline nomination form\nPrintable nomination form (pdf)\nClosing deadline: Applicants must complete and submit a nomination form through the online form or designated email no later than Monday\, July 13\, 2026\, at 5:00 PM to be considered a candidate for election.
