This call trains you on community ecosystem mapping\, a structured tool for identifying who is already organizing immigrant defense work in your community\, what they are working on\, and where the gaps are in your local organizing ecosystem. \nOn this one-hour national training call\, you will: \n\nLearn why following the lead of impacted communities is the foundation of an effective response\, and get an honest look at some of the challenges of strategic allyship.\nGet trained on community ecosystem mapping\, including the specific questions to ask about the organizations\, communication channels\, and community champions already active in your community.\nHear directly from local Indivisible group leaders about what ecosystem mapping unlocked for their ability to mount a safe\, effective\, nonviolent community response in alignment with the immigrant-led organizations in their community.\n\nYou’ll leave with the knowledge and framework to develop a concrete picture of the organizing ecosystem in your own community.
