Rebecca Pulido Goff is thrilled to be able to share her experience and passion with the WashoeDEMS as the Secretary. She has been an active voter since she was 18 years old, but her involvement in politics began in earnest when she started volunteering during the 2016 presidential primary. Since then she has served in leadership positions with the Lyon County Democrats before moving to Reno and serving as the first vice chair of the Democratic Women of Washoe County and as President of the Washoe Young Dems. Rebecca is also a proud graduate of Emerge Nevada, Class of 2019, and is currently serving her second term as an at-large member of the Nevada State Democratic Party Executive Board representing Washoe County. She has continued to volunteer countless hours over the last three election cycles working to help get Democrats elected up and down the ticket and across the state.
Originally from sunny San Diego, Rebecca and her husband, Alex, relocated to Northern Nevada from Virginia in 2012 after Alex received his honorable discharge from the Marine Corps. While they initially settled in Fernley, they both fell in love with all Reno had to offer and moved to the city a few years ago. Rebecca graduated cum laude from California State University, Fullerton with a BA in Theatre Arts. Besides politics, Rebecca’s main passion is helping animals. Professionally, Rebecca has been working in veterinary medicine for over a decade starting as a receptionist, advancing to a veterinary assistant, and finally being promoted to management. She is currently living her dream as the Clinic Manager at the Nevada Humane Society here in Reno. Alex and Rebecca are blessed to share their lives and their home with two wonderful dogs, Ginger-Ale and Gracie Goff.
The Secretary maintains minutes, agendas and the Party membership roster.
