2026 Washoe County Democratic Convention
Saturday, May 2, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Proctor Hug High School in Sparks, NV
- Declare your intent as a Delegate to the County Convention by Sunday, April 12, 2026, 5:00 p.m. HERE.
- Register as a Guest to the County Convention by Wednesday, April 29, 2026, 5:00 p.m. HERE.
- Nominate yourself to be a 2026-2028 Washoe Democratic Central Committee member HERE.
- Volunteer to help at the Convention HERE or call (775) 323-8683.
- Lunch, water and soft drinks will be provided at the Convention.

The Democratic Party of Washoe County will hold its biennial convention for the purposes of:
- Adopting a Party Platform of the Democratic Party of Washoe County
- Electing the Washoe Democratic Central Committee for 2026-2028
- Electing eighty (80) Delegates and up to sixteen (16) Alternates to the 2026 Nevada State Democratic Convention to be held in Las Vegas, NV on Saturday, June 13, 2026
- Other party organizing business in accordance with the Convention Rules
Participation as a Delegate or Alternate to the County Convention is open to all persons who are registered Democrats residing in Washoe County as of March 2, 2026, two months prior to the May 2, 2026, County Convention.
Participation as a Delegate or Alternate to the Nevada State Democratic Convention is open to all persons who are registered Democrats residing in Washoe County as of February 1, 2026.
- File your intent by Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. to run for Delegate or Alternate to the Nevada State Democratic Convention held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, in Las Vegas at the NV State Democratic Convention Delegate Intent form.
