Our February meeting will focus on rural areas.

• Brian Wadsworth is running for County Commission District 5 (map), currently held by Jeanne Herman who is termed out and therefore not eligible to run.  He is a member of Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe and lives in Nixon, NV.   One of his concerns is rural safety and emergency services.
• Mathew Fonken will talk to us about his campaign for CD2.  He wants to focus on protecting public lands and water, improving health care, lowering cost of housing and defending the constitution.
• Diana Mackey will provide a brief overview of Red Hawk Golf proposal to swap open space for housing.
