South Washoe Dems Monthly Meeting: Wildfires and More!
Mon, Oct 5 · 5:30 PM
With special guest Assembly Member Heather Goulding. Wildfires are a major problem in our area. They affect our safety, health, home insurance, peace of mind and our very lives! Heather Goulding, Assm. District 27, has done her homework and has a lot of information and ideas to share. More than that, she also has FOUR committee bills addressing these issues ready to go for the upcoming 2027 NV Legislative Session.
She is also championing a bill on data centers; another on affordable housing; and a couple protecting victims of violent crime. And… she’s recently investigated the Renown-Kaiser Merger changes that have impacted many of our health plans!
Join us for this wide-ranging conversation with Goulding, winner of the 2025 Champion for Change and 2025 Elected Official of the Year in recognition of her work during the last legislative session. It’s sure to be an interesting and informative program that you won’t want to miss!
BONUS!
Meet the Candidates for these offices:
Joe Gorman – District Court Judge
Blaise Jorgensen – County Public Administrator
Sean McDowell – County Clerk
