All members and guests, whether attending in person or online, must register for the meeting AT THIS LINK. Members attending online via Zoom will be sent the Zoom link the day of the meeting in a separate email.

All guests must be Washoe County Democrats residing in, and registered to vote in Washoe County, unless otherwise invited by WashoeDEMS.

Due to the recent resignation of our At Large Member, Dept. 1, we will be holding an election to fill this office at this meeting.

Election Overview:
The election will be held at the Washoe County Central Committee
meeting on Wednesday, November 18, 2026.Each candidate must be a registered Democrat residing in Washoe County.
Prior to the opening of the election, notice of the election and the filing deadline, along with the nomination form will be sent out to members of the WCCC via email.
Authorized nomination forms shall be available as on online form (Google) or a downloadable print format (pdf).
Each candidate is required to file a nomination form to run for this position. Along with the nomination form, each candidate may submit an initial statement of qualifications and experience, as well as a Candidate Message to the WDCC members.
Filing and Election Dates:
Filing to fill the mid-term vacancy of the At Large Member, Dept. 1 position will open on Friday, November 6, 2026, at 9:00 AM.
Closing deadline: Applicants must complete and submit a nomination form through the online form or designated email no later than Saturday, November 14, 2026, at 6:00 PM to be considered a candidate for election.
Completed candidate nomination forms, statements of intent, and Candidate Messages shall be posted on the WashoeDEMS website by Sunday, November 15, 2026.
All e-mail communications to the WDCC member list from candidates shall be sent by WashoeDEMS. Email communications shall be limited to ONE (1) message per candidate.
Candidate messages must be received by Saturday, November 14, 2026, at 6:00 PM and will be posted on the website and emailed to the WDCC members by Wednesday, July 1, 2026.
