Our Mission
The mission of the Democratic Party of Washoe County is to support and elect Democrats in local and statewide elections while being proponents for Democratic values and positions.
Our Purposes are:
- To encourage and facilitate the participation of Democrats in WashoeDEMS’ activities.
- To recruit and assist WashoeDEMS’ members in seeking public office.
- To support Democrats serving in elected public office.
- To advance the principles and positions of the Democratic Party.
