Frequently Asked Questions

Q: I’ve been invited to be Delegate, what do I need to do and what information do I need?
A: First of all, we encourage you to pre-register using this link as soon as possible (or at the Delegate Registration button above) . All Delegate documents regarding registration, credentials pickup, as well as deadlines to submit platform amendments, and additional information will be provided to the voting Delegates via a series of emails leading up to the convention.

Q: If I’m not a Delegate, may I still attend the Convention?
A: If you are a registered Democrat living in Washoe County who voted in the Presidential Preference Primary in February, we invite you to register as a guest using this link (or the Guest Registration button above). Please note, as seating is limited in the venue, guests will be seated in order of check-in on April 6th regardless of order of pre-registration.

Q. I’m a Democratic candidate and would like to address the convention goers.
A. We do our best to reach out to all our Democratic candidates, but if we missed you and you’d like to briefly address the convention, please register using the Speaker Registration button above or just click here. Candidates will receive information as to speaking time and order a few days before the convention.

Q. Do you need volunteers to help at the Convention?
A. Yes we do! Fill out this form and let us know what you’d like to do. We’ll be in touch!

Q: What about food?
A: A lunch of deli sandwiches & chips will be provided for our delegates only. However, if you prefer to pack your own lunch, feel free.  We encourage everyone to bring their own water bottle and minimize plastic use! Please note, no food or beverages other than water will be allowed in the theater.

Q: What about parking?
A: Parking is super-easy! Just follow Sullivan Lane past the the first and second round-abouts, around the football field, and enter the parking lot at the north of of the theater.  Just remember, you are going to the NEW Hug High on Sullivan Lane!
